BTDT MOms-- Would you have your child's bedroom on a different floor than yours?
For those of you who live in a house with bedrooms on different floors (i.e. a cape). At what age, if any, would you think its ok for your child to sleep on a different floor than you.?

I'm OK with this. Me upstairs, them downstairs - I couldn't do that.

I would be ok with them upstairs and me downstairs but not the other way around.

We don't have a choice, they are upstairs and we are downstairs. It hasn't been an issue at all.

im not BTDT but our bedroom is downstairs and the nursery is upstairs. we dont really have a choice. we plan on keeping her in our room to about 6 months (give or take depending n how she is) and then she wil go upstairs. however, we are getting the video monitor so that should ease our minds a bit.

I don't have a choice either. We will be downstairs, DD #1 will be upstairs and new baby will be downstairs for the first few years and then move up to share with DD #1.
