BTDT MOMS.............Party Question

Any of you use the "Balloon Time" helium tank for your kids party to inflate the balloons? After trying to transport balloons from Party City to the party location for my DD's christening party a few months ago and having half of them pop I'm not wanting to do that again. I was wondering if that Balloon Time tank is any good OR should I rent a helium tank from Party City? WWYD? TIA!! Chat Icon

Re: BTDT MOMS.............Party Question

My cousin used to do balloon centerpieces and arches and stuff for parties and many times he used that tank and sometimes he rented a tank from Party City...it depended on how many he was inflating.

I've used them a few times with no problems.

The mylar balloons last a REALLY long time. The regular kind (latex?) tend to last only a day or so, but when I got a bunch of those from Party City they told me that they'd only last about 24 hours so I guess that's the norm.

Re: BTDT MOMS.............Party Question

you can actually get that tank from BJS for a lot cheaper... we used these for DD's party... it did the job, but the balloons did not last that long outside...

We've done the BJ's tanks a few times. Very easy to transport, easy to use, fills up quite a few balloons, and you can fill them up as much or as little as you want.

Is the one from B's also Balloon Time or is it a BJ's brand thing? I am using latex balloons so as long as they last through the 4 hr. party I am happy and don't care what I use to fill them as long as I am not transporting them. What a PITA that is! Chat Icon

I popped like 8 of them just trying to get in the car. TOO annoying. Thanks for the heads up. I figured I would check BJ's and Target and see if they had the $35 I think for the Balloon Time tank.

I used the Balloon time tank and I thought it worked great. Super easy to use and blew up all the balloons quickly. THe balloons don't last more than a day though so you need to blow them up the day off.

Re: BTDT MOMS.............Party Question

I used it for DD's first b-day and would def use it again. The first few you do are a bit hard to tie but you get the hang of it rather quickly.
