BTDT VBAC Moms who delivered @ Stonybrook
Please recommend your OB.
I really want to try for a VBAC with #2 and I definitely want to deliver at Stonybrook this time. We are not going to TTC until the end of the year or early 2012 but I am due for my annual and I would like to change doctors now.

I had a great experience at Three Village in E. Setauket. If you really, truly want to VBAC though I highly recommend NOT seeing Dr. Droesch or Dr. Kalber. Dr. Schoenfeld and Dr. Davenport were the ones I didn't have to fight with to not schedule a c-section at 39 weeks

Didn't have a VBAC, but I loooove this practice too and those doctors in particular!

I had an emergency C-section with Droesch Loved him to pieces.. He let me try to labor on my own as long as possible but when my blood pressure went up and the baby heart rate dropped thats when I had no choice. He is great but no longer there. so you dont have to worry about him..My other favorite is Schoenfeld..very sweet man!!

Do they also have an office in Patchogue? I searched for Dr. Schoenfeld and Dr. Davenport on my insurance website and I am only getting a Patchogue address.
ETA: nevermind I found my answer I had to expand the radius of my search to see the setauket address. The patchogue office is closer for me so I will probably see them there.
