Does anyone have the bumbleride stroller and if so do you like it?

Re: Bumbleride Strollers

I've got my eye on the Indie Twin, but I don't have it yet.

I know Colleen has the Flyer (but no baby yet).

Re: Bumbleride Strollers

I don't think the Flyer comes in different sizes...as far as I could tell when we test drove them. Chat Icon

No kid yet...but I do love the stroller. I love that the handle moves so the baby can be forward facing of facing me...and I love that it moves side to side, not just forward and backward. I have the Ruby color.

Re: Bumbleride Strollers

OMG, we JUST got the indie in ruby Chat Icon

We have nicknamed it Crouton's sportscar.... It even has a 'moonroof' Chat Icon (a little window in the canopy).

Obviously no baby yet... but it is super-sturdy, I think it's the lightest all-terrain on the market (20 lbs), and can be folded reasonably easily. We got it for 3 main reasons:
large wheels don't get caught on pavement cracks/bumps/soft ground

The handlebar is adjustable...(we're tall!)

Most of the accessories (carseat adapter, foot muff, cup holder) are standard.... we only had to pay extra for the rain cover.

If you have the time to trek to brooklyn, I highly recommend going to baby central. It's a small shop (about 7-11 sized), that is filled to the gills with bumbleride and other higher-end strollers. That way you can compare for yourself and find what you like best, all in one shop. They even had the indie in stock....

another shop that has a model of it is albee baby in NYC.

To answer your question above, the flyer and indie only come in one size (unless your shopping for a twin stroller). The colors I believe are the same in both models. the main difference between the indie and flyer is the size of the wheels, and the indie has 3 whells while the flyer has 4.

Re: Bumbleride Strollers

I have a Flyer from 07. Overall its OK. I love the way it looks, but its bulky when folded, heavy, takes two hands to open, when you switch the handle around to have baby face you the basket scuffs the wheels if there's anything in the basket, the basket is small, it doesn't have a bar with a tray for older baby's sippy cup, turns a little roughly sometimes.

I do like the washable fabric and its a fairly smooth ride. It also held the infant carrier car side (I have a Graco Snugride) well.

If I could go back I would have gotten the Peg I was looking at. The Bumbleride is not that bad, just not amazing for what you spend. I'd proly look at Zooper's as well.
