Burberry Jacket
I wasn't sure where to post this but I need to get my Burberry Jacket dry cleaned. Would you take it to your regular dry cleaner? The tag actually says Specialist Dry Cleaner so I wasn't sure and I'm worried it will get ruined. Thoughts?

Re: Burberry Jacket
To be honest, I'm not even sure what a specialist dry cleaner is. Lol I'd take it to my regular dry cleaner and ask them if they've ever cleaned a jacket like that.

Re: Burberry Jacket
Fabric is fabric. Take it to any dry cleaner you use that are happy with.

It's just like any other jacket. Nothing special about the fabric they use. Bring it to your reg dry cleaner.

Meurice Garment Care in Manhasset is a specialty cleaner. They're pricey but very reputable. I have a couture dress that I got from a friend who is a designer. They did a beautiful job cleaning it.

Re: Burberry Jacket
For a jacket that expensive I'd find a 'specialty' dry cleaner - They may not DO or use anything different, but for their price piont, they are used to working with high end clients and garments - I've had a few things ruined by my local places and I wouldn't want to chance it -
If you find one, let me know. I have to have my trench cleaned, and taken in 3 sizes (YAY for losing weigh - BOO for the fact that it's going to cost me a fortune)
