Burn from cooking...
I burned myself cooking two nights ago really bad... A burn from steam... My skin peeled up and back, now I have a big open blister. It is very painful. On my index finger.
Anything over the counter I can use on it? Bandaid? No Bandaid? What's better? TIA!

I've done that often enought to know that it hurts. Most important is to keep it covered so that the skin heals and doesn't scar so much. I've used neosporin to keep the wound moist, then covered with gauze. Changed dressing twice a day, washing with mild soap and water, spriting on some Bactine letting it dry, then doing the neosporin.

Re: Burn from cooking...
there is a great burn kit from CVS (its their brand) and it was amazing! dh burned his hand badly and used the stuff that it came with immediately and felt relief and ended up without scars
