Buying Baby Clothes

I'm addicted. With 8 weeks left to go in my pregnancy I have a new found love for stocking up on my little girl's wardrobe. I've been able to resist up until now because I was waiting for my shower, and now that it's over, I can no longer hold in the urge to shop. Please, someone tell me there's nothing wrong with this, because according to my family, they think I'm crazy for spending $$ on baby clothes when I'm probably going to receive more once she is born.

Re: Buying Baby Clothes

Our families yelled at us too. My feeling on it is it's my kid and I'll spend whatever I want on them. It's not like I can't afford it. It makes me and DH happy and that's all that matters.

Re: Buying Baby Clothes

I am going shopping with my mom, MIL and grandma for baby clothing next week!!!! I am soooo excited. The only clothing I have purchased is a coming home outfit. I looked for stuff today, but with a late September baby I am waiting until the fall clothing comes out.

Re: Buying Baby Clothes

i did the same before DD was born.. but to be honest i didnt buy anything that ineeded and had to go back out and get her more stuff once she arrived!... shes ended up losing alot of weight and needed Newborn size clothes. ithought shed be in and out of them in a week or 2 and were now at 5 weeks today she weights 9lbs 5 oz and shes still wearing newborn size and can go quite a bit longer in most of them! ... i couldnt even think about putting her in 0-3 they were and still are HUGE on her.
