WWYD?

For DS#1, we bought a crib that converted to a twin bed. Perfect!

For DS#2, we are buying a crib that doesn't convert. I don't want a crib that converts to full bed because it just won't fit well in bedroom.

The furniture company makes several twin beds that go with the collection. You can sign up to be notified if/when the set is going to be discontinued.

Do I wait and order and bed when DS is ready for it? This is good knowing that I can order earlier if it's going to be discontinued.

One drawback though is that the color might not be exact since it wouldn't be from the same lot.

If I order it now, I have to store it... Basement is unfinished and gets damp... Attic gets cold in winter and hot in summer... So storing it isn't ideal. But it might go up in price in the few years and I might be able to get a better price the more pieces I buy in one shot. KWIM?

WWYD?

Thanks!

I would wait. No point storing it and risking mold or distortion becoming an issue if you can help it.

If you can take the option to be notified it the bed is discontinued I would do that. If you are notified before you had intended to buy the bed at least you'll be able to decide what to do (and get a good price).
