buying furniture at BBB
If you pick out furniture from bbb, how long does it take to come in? is anything in stock? Does it all have to be assembled?

Re: buying furniture at BBB
My furniture was in stock. It is just pure luck if it is in stock or not. They said what is not in stock can take up to 12 weeks to come in. We took one piece home with us and are going to pick the other 2 up after the painiting is done. They can hold it for you as long as you want! Our dresser and chest are assembled already. The crib is not assembled, because it wouldn't fit through a doorway. The crib comes with the 4 sides and bottom in seperate pieces.

From what I remember, what they have on the floor showroom is what is generally in stock. If you order a different finish or something, it has to be ordered.
It takes between 8-12 weeks and I had my furniture delivered to the store so we had to pick it up and put it together. You can pay for shipping and set up though.

thanks. we are probably going to order a set that they had in the showroom..same finish/color. Hopefully it iwll be in stock. 12weeks would be cutting it close if they took that long. Even though the baby won't be in the crib for a while, I want the room done well before the baby is here

The crib I wanted from them happened to be in stock. It just got delivered today (less than 2 weeks after we placed the order.) As for assembly, we decided to do it ourselves (DH takes pride in putting stuff together and wants to make sure it's done right.) You have the option to pay for assembly on top of their normal delivery charge.
