Buying shoes for the fall
When should I? DD's feet grow so quickly I don't want to buy a pair too early and then have them not fit by the time she needs to wear them...when do you normally buy fall shoes? She has nothing except sandals right now

I usually wait til the last minute. Their feet grow sooo fast and I do not want to get a new size in the same season.

I was thinking about this because Stide Rite is having Buy 1 Get 1 50% off so I was thinking of getting some shoes. But I have no clue about sizing.

I bought them early at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale because the prices were amazing. I love Nordstrom because I know I can easily exchange for a different size if I need to when the time comes. No questions asked. I don't buy my kid's shoes anywhere else.
They have taken back worn shoes that didn't hold up, shoes my DD wore but ended up not really fitting right. They have the best customer service.

Thanks, that's good to know!!! BTW I have seen Geox on odd times at Century but not all sizes obviously

I haven't yet, but only bc I haven't decided what kind I want to get. Last year she had too many and I don't want to do the same thing this year. Once I buy some more fall clothes I'll figure out what style shoes she needs.
ETA - right now she's just about out of her 8.5's. I'll probably get 9s or 9.5 for fall.
