C/S moms - period question (a little tmi)...

girls that had a c section and had your first period already....

i'm on my second period since the section and WOW. I have never in my life bled like this before. It's like when i FIRST was in the hospital...small gushes...etc. It's terrible...

is this NORMAL!?!?!?!? Will this eventually taper off - or will it stay this way for awhile????

It was awful fo rme too. I would say it started returning to normal @ 6mos PP for me.

Well, I BF so my first . did not come until we started solids at 5 1/2 months but OMG !!! After a couple of months it went back to normal.

I BF for about 6 weeks and AF came back about a month after that. For me it was pretty normal.

Had my C/S in May...I'm also on my 2nd cycle and I will say its NOT fun!
Sounds like we're in the same boat.
I think I was like this with Bry too for a few months....Uuuuggghh

I'm on my 2nd period too and it is super heavy and I'm on birth control. It used to be super light when I was on birth control!!! I also had it for 8 days last month. Prior to getting pregnant I used to get it for like 3 days!

Ughhh awful. I bled so heavy it was disgusting!!! Now I don't bleed as much but it lasts for like 8 days!!

I didn't have a C/S but my first 2-3 AF PP were yucky and BAD.... now they are pretty light and for the first time in my life NO CRAMPING!!!!

I bled heavy for about 3 weeks PP, but I haven't gotten my period yet. Mason turned 2 months last week and nothing. I'm not BF either

OMG! Last week at this time I was asking the same exact questions ( or at least thinking to ask it).

I got my period last thurs which was exactly 5 weeks to the day I delivered (so fast...i know )

It was soooooo heavy...I mean nothing like i ever experienced in my life. I researched it online and seem to find that a lot of girls with c sections have the same thing. Thurs, friday sat very very bad....in fact on sat I said if it continues like this till monday I will have to call OB bc this cant be good!

I thought maybe a popped an internal stiched and I was bleeding out or something that is how bad it was. i was sooo stressed over it!

By monday it started to slow down and not be as heavy. I still have it and this is 9 days now, but not anywhere like last weekend.

Before being pregnant I would get AF for 4-5 days, one day would be slightly heavy and then the rest sooo light.....

This was INSANE!

They really should warn you about that when D/C'ed from the hospital. I wouldn't have been sooo scared and alarmed then.

I've has two periods so far since the c-section and they have been awful. Horrible cramps and very heavy.
