C-Section Moms and Sex question
I had my c-section 5 weeks ago today, and as I approach the six week mark, I am still very nervous to have sex...is this normal, I had a scheduled c -section so there are no issues down there, Im not sure why I feel this way, also the breast feeding part kind of makes me feel wierd too.........did anyone els feel this way or am I the only one

Re: C-Section Moms and Sex question
I don't let my DH go near my breast when we have sex, I don't want him touching or his mouth on something my son feeds off from--lol call me crazy but thats how I am.
I too was nervous to have sex again after my c-section, I waited almost 5 months after I had DD.... (there are other things to do--lol) and waiting 2 months after I had DS, nothing wrong with waiting, you have to be the one that feels comfortable, or it won't be fun!

Re: C-Section Moms and Sex question
I don't BF so I can't help you there but I waited the full 6 weeks and all felt ok down there. No problems.
Just feels weird that my stomach feels numb...

Re: C-Section Moms and Sex question
It took time for DH and me to have sex after the c-section. (being a new mommy & I had some complications after the c-section, blood clot) I think the sleep deprivation had something to do with it ~ it is still hard to find time.

Re: C-Section Moms and Sex question
DH and I had sex exactly 6 weeks after my scheduled C-section and it was great. Didn't feel any different then before and it didn't hurt. It was like old times.

I had a c-section and am EBFing. I didn't think there would be any issues b/c of the c-section, but it was quite painful. Apparently, it's pretty common, especially if you're BFing.

Re: C-Section Moms and Sex question
I've had the go-ahead since last week- I'm 4 weeks post- c. sec today.
Although I want to- 1) my mom is visiting and staying with us this week 2) I'm nervous about not being on birth control yet and 3) I feel like I'm doing it again for the first time- Its like I dont know my own body anymore
As for DH- I know he's hurting for some physical-ness but he didnt give me any in my last weeks of pregnancy when I was dying for some and he was scared so I dont feel so bad

I had a c-section and felt weird. We did the deed about 8 weeks PP. It was a little weird at first, but then got back to normal.

Same here.. Now I am 13 weeks pp and still hurts, but is getting better.
ETA: use lots of lube!!

Re: C-Section Moms and Sex question
I know exactly how you feel.. I had an emergency c-section and I EBFed.. I got the clearance yesterday. My dh knows breasts are off limits.. I wear a bra also this way they dont leak.
Part that im fearing is getting pregnant (already 2 under 2 dont need 3 under 3) and the fact that the our newborn is in the room. I know she wont know a thing but kinda skeeves me out that shes hearing it..

Re: C-Section Moms and Sex question
With both my c-sections we did it right at the 6 week point when you get the ok from the doctor. With my first I was BF but this time I'm not. The only side effect was dryness, so it hurt a little. Like other people said, just use lots of lube and it'll be fine.
