c section scar appearance question
what does yours look like? has anyone had theirs "fixed"
Mine Keloided over, it's super red and raised. my doc want's to fix it after DC 2 is born. I wonder if I'm better off going to a plastic surgeon for this?
TIA

With DD my incision keloided over BAD. When I had my c-section with DD#2 in Oct, the doctor did a scar revision and it's nice and flat now.
I use this topical stuff called "Scar Guard" so it won't end up keloiding again.

I have had 3 c-sections and my scar looks pretty good (the last one was 2 years ago). Its not red or raised at all.

I can't even see mine. When I was in the hospital everyone who looked at it said it was awesome.

Re: c section scar appearance question
how old is it? I was JUST going to post about this the other day. I used to complain about my scar and while it's not as clean as many others' I have seen it has gotten drastically better in the last 3 months and I am 17 months pp. HTH

Re: c section scar appearance question
Mine is fine after the 2. You can't even see them but even if you could, I would do nothing about it. But if it bothers you, then go for it!
Mine is soo low and only DH will see it and I don't think he would really care at all

Re: c section scar appearance question
Mine is fine. I had my c-section in August and after having a second surgery last month going through that scar, the scar seems to be disappearing, at least half of it anyway.

Same here. I hope it heals just as well next time around.

Re: c section scar appearance question
I was wondering this too. Mine is dark pink and sort of raised and puffy. Is this keloided? My doctor did not mention anything being wrong with my scar.
