Cablevision - I HATE YOU!
goodbye Voom network, goodbye Equator HD and Ultra HD - I will really miss you!  
we don't have any Voom network channels as of today.
and my bill just went up a few dollars.
I really really hate Cablevision

all the channels they are talking about in this post--from Voom Networks (about 15 channels) won't be on Fios either..just so you know
i was talking to my friend's husband who works for cablevision...and he said it was some type of licensing agreement issue and they are removing the Voom channels from this market area.
DH loved MonstersHD...i loved Travel & Equator.

My husband works for cablevision and says most of the calls he gets are from people coming back from fios

They shut down the whole department that offered VOOM since direct TV dropped those channels. My friend's BF worked for VOOM and was layed off a few weeks ago.

dh  the game play channel.
i, on the other hand, am  to see this particular gem go.
i never quite got the appeal of watching other people (who are not necessarily any good!) play video games.

and here i thought it was just me!
my phone mysteriously goes dead in the middle of the night causing my central station house alarm key pad to start beep nonstop to alert me that our dialtone was interupted!
I have no idea what chanels you mean because I rarely watch TV & we don't get all of the chanels anyway but its sucks that they take stuff away AND raise the bill. I'm still pizzed about loosing animal planet & TLC on my tvs without boxes.
I really dislike everything about cablevision, unfortunatley we have no other choice where I live.

Dh said the same.
People tend to bounce back and forth with the two. B/c of the $$.. they go to fios for a year and then back to cable for a year, then back to fios...
If you go to fios beware the installation time is at least 6 hours.. it takes them that long to hook up the network. Reason alot of people stay with cablevision.
