Cailen "moved up" today in daycare!!!
It was bittersweet...
First off - I DID talk to the supervisor about that teacher. She promised me she would approach it very generally and she must have done a good job because the tecaher didn't seem to have any ill feelnings towards me. She was very sweet when I came in and she may have just been having a bad night because she actually seemed very patient with the toddlers.
it was so weird bringing him in the new room - and its so much more "school " like than the infant room. when we got there, the babies were sitting at "circle" time and looking at books!
Cailen took to it immediately! He loves books, and I placed a book in his hand and he sat with the other kids! He looked around like "Why am I in HERE?" but he really loves novel situations so he really took it in.
I think he liked having a classroom full of kids to play with - he was the oldest in the last room, and was starting to get very social and saying hi to everyone, and they wouldn't say hi back because they were infants. In the new room, they actually play with him and he loved it.
Never before did I feel how much Cailen is growing up until I put him in the room and saw him act more like a "little boy" than a baby....

Awww... we are in the same boat... mine move up officially on the 15th.
Our daycare has them spend some time each day for a few weeks in the older room to get them used to it.
DD was in there all day yesterday and napped on one of the mats, DS napped in the infant room in the pack and play
I have to walk through the older infant room to get to the younger one. I look through the glass on the door only to see DD sitting in her chair in a circle, eating her snack with the older kids I caught her making the sign for cracker to the teacher because she wanted another Graham cracker... I almost died 
They are so much like little people now.
He'll adjust in no time.
