are you ready for me to start with my daycare questions? how do I label a pacifier?

We will be starting p/t daycare in about a month. We spoke to the daycare and asked some questions about labeling. They mentioned putting labeling the baby's pacifiers? What would we use? I would think that Sharpies are full of lead? Dylan sticks all sides of it in his mouth? If I get high sniffing Sharpies do I really want him licking it? Should I just send him with a little attacher and lots of extra pacis and whatever gets lost, does?

I already got some great tips from some old threads about day care and labeling. Now that I have to start the process, keep giving me pointers.

I don't label his pacifier. I don't want DS to chew (which he does when he uses it as a teether) on the marker writting.

I have a pacifier thingy. The one that clip to the clothes so he does not lose it. I have labeled that.

He has the penguin. I used a marker. I wrote his name in the back on the igloo where the clip is.

Thanks. I may just put an initial on the rope part. We'll see. I am a bit surprised that they said to put his name on a paci. Maybe some kids have the button style ones that can be customized but D. does not take those.
