Cake pop moms...
Have you ever made them with brownies? For the girls' b-day party, I want to make them, but don't know if I really need "cake" pops since the regular cake will be on the dessert table. I was thinking about trying them with brownies. What do you think?

Brownies are heavy, they may fall of the stick...the cake ones actually taste like brownies once you add the icing...

Re: Cake pop moms...
i did brownies one time - i dipped them in chocalate or melted peanut butter chips
they stayed on the stick nicely -i did not use frosting - just under cooked the brownies by a few minutes

ditto to what she said.. they are very rich tasting because of the frosting..
if you want to do brownies, just do them as cake balls and don't use the stick

Re: Cake pop moms...
I don't know about brownies... they might be too sweet... I think cake pops are different than cake. I would make an opposite flavor of the cake (if ur doing a chocolate cake do vanilla cake pops)...

What about the oreo truffles? You can put them on a stick too to make them pops. Those are always a huge hit.

Yes, they're SOOOOO good. A little time consuming since you have to refrigerate or freeze in between, but VERY easy.
