Camera Questions
Anyone have any experince with Canon or Nikon...Likes? Dislikes?
This one had pretty good reviews....Canon EOS Rebel XSi...any thoughts?

I've used both and I prefer the Nikon (sorry Kate!)
Of course, I used the Nikon first and got used to it before I tried the Rebel.....so that might have had something to do with it.
You can't go wrong with either one though really.

I'm a Nikon girl. I find the menu's and often used settings on Canon's are not as easy to use.

I voted for Canon because that's what I have. I really have no experience with Nikon.

Both have their fans. Go to a store and hold both, see which is more comfortable in your hands. Whichever you get you'll want to stick with once you start investing in lenses. I'm a Canon fan myself but I don't have anything against Nikon. Canon is just where I started and where I've stayed. Another good piece of advice - if you have a friend that you'll likely be going out with on photowalks then get what they have - if your friend is familiar with the brand they'll be more able to help you answer any questions on your camera.
