Can an Upper Respiratory Infection cause crusty eyes?
DD has a Upper Respiratory Infection and this morning she woke up with her eyes crusted shut. Her eyes aren't red and are not bothering her. Does this happen with viral illnesses?

This has happened to DD twice. Both times it was an ear infection.

That has happened to Abby with her eyes as well and she ended up with an ear infection. Take it from an ear tube mommy. Ear infections can pop up faster than you think. I hope she feels better

DD had this once (she was 6 months old though) along with a cold. When I took her to the ped the ped said that it was mucous that had backed into her eyes but that was all it was. I would def take her to the ped to check though.
