Can anyone answer these tick questions?

Do ticks ever look like splinters?

How fast do they move?

How do you kill them?

thanks

They look like REALLY small spiders...kind of. Chat Icon

I've killed em by flushing it down the toilet. A burial at sea, if you will!

I'm really not sure how fast they move to be honest, I've only come across them on our dogs and once we get them off they go straight into a tissue and then right into the toilet.

ETA: I've never seen one that resembled a splinter but what you're seeing could be just the head. In that case, it could look like you have a splinter.

Re: Can anyone answer these tick questions?

Hey Jennie

Thanks!

Nah, didnt look like a spider like that.

Well I dont have one IN me...there was sometihng walking on my arm that I wasnt sure what it was.

It looked like a small splinter, walking fairly quickly.

So I was trying to figure out if it was a tick.

I smushed it in a towel and covered it in vaseline to smother it, b/c I cant throw it in the washing machine just yet.

LOL
