Can anyone rec a Pediatrician near Malverne?

Preferably one that is open to a delayed vaccine schedule and one who takes blood in office.

Love them there, and they respect my wishes on vaccines....they may TELL me they don't necessarily agree, but they respect what I want.
They do draw blood and test very quickly too, and you can get an appointment easily and never wait too long.....

I don't think they take blood in the office and I went with recommended vaccination schedule, but I highly recommend Dr. Lisa Forgione in RVC. She is in practice with two other women, Dr. Fusco and Dr. Peloso. She came highly recommend by my OB/GYN (he brings his three girls there). She is also the cousin of my husband’s best friend since childhood. I didn’t even know this when she was recommended by my OB. She is a wonderful doctor. She listens, takes time to answer all questions and doesn’t rush you at all. She’s straight to the point, while being compassionate at the same time. She’s great with kids. They are open 6 days a week. Sick appointments only on Saturday. Closed Sunday, but you can call if there is an emergency and one of the doctors will call you back. I make our regular appointments with Dr. Forgione, but if Thomas is sick, we see whoever is there at that time. I love the other two doctors as well. Extremely compassionate and great with kids. They have evening hours, until about 6. I have never had a problem getting an appointment to be seen same day if Thomas was sick. If I get a call from daycare that Thomas is sick, I can pick him up and bring him right in around 5 – 6 p.m. They don’t have separate waiting rooms, but they take newborns in to an examining room immediately. Their office is on North Village Avenue on the second floor. They have elevator, but if you park in the back lot it is easier to walk up the one flight of steps (just a little bit of a workout when lugging a car seat or toddler!) I travel from Massapequa to RVC for this practice. I highly, highly recommend them. Please let me know if you have any questions!
