We just bought the Hoover Windtunnel Self-Propelled. I love it!! It has this very cool sensor - red and the carpet is dirty, green it is clean. With the cat, it took me awhile to get the living room to green, but I feel like it does an awesome job.
The only downfall is that it is kinda heavy. I can get it up and down the stairs no problem, but it's definitely heavier than my Kenmore.
i have this too
i agree- its heavy- but the sensor feature is nice and so are the hepa filters
I just found this in related posts and wanted to know how the two of you still feel about hte vacuum. This is our 2nd Hoover and both of them have seemed to "crap" out ---- they don't pick up anything anymore. I seriously have to take the dusbuster and go over spots that the vacuum cleaner missed. We've taken it all apart and haven't found anything wrong with it ---- the next step is to take it to a repair place but I seriously just want to throw it out the window and buy a dyson.

I have a dyson and love it. Everytime you vaccuum it's like the carpets are brand new. I agree with the previous posters, the attachments can be a little scary at times.

I have a Dyson and wouldn't buy it again. It's an okay vacuum and I haven't seen what all the hype is about. I used to have a canister Kenmore and that will be the next vacuum I buy.
