we stayed at the Hyatt and were happy. They offer a decent breakfast too which we liked.
We were only there a day and a half but we did a bunch: -- Mystic Seaport -- the aquarium (it was pretty expensive and my 18 month old couldn't care less about it) -- Old Mistik Village shops (right next door to the aquarium) -- walk around the town and see the drawbridge -- there's also a dinosaur park about 15 minutes away which is supposed to be really cute (we didn't go there so I don't know)

Awesome! TY! We are only going for that long too. I have a 3 year old who likes the Riverhead Aquarium...do you think it's worth it for her?

We are in a Mystic right one with our 18 month old daughter. We did the village and seaport yesterday. Today we went to the aquarium and went downtown. My daughter seems to be enjoying seeing everything. Oh, we are at the Hyatt as well. No complaints. Close to the village and aquarium!

Whalers inn. Fantastic rooms are clean it's in the heat of the town and charming. Fairly reasonable too

We stayed at the Hyatt pre-child, but we loved it. Very clean, great service.

We usually stay in Newport, RI. Great food & nightlife. I def agree: mystic is a teeny town. You can even do one major attraction as a day trip. The aquarium, seaport & steamboat are cute. We get an ice cream in town.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn when we did the Polar Express in November - already have it booked for this year.
Exceptionally clean and close to everything
