Can I expect to be up all night (first ear infection)
Johnny is 14 months, has his first (mild) ear infection.
He has been up 6 times since 7pm...I can't believe this.
We gave him amoxycillin and motrin. I BELIEVE its mild b/c on wednesday it was a "little fluid" in the ear but no infection. Tonight however he ran a slight fever (99.4) and has been very irritable.
Just not sure what to expect or if i'm doing everything i should..

DD had this last week, and then we found out she was allergic to the amoxicylin, but the dr. said that her ear was healed (I hope it was) I just kept giving the motrin as needed, but she was up alot. I would give the meds at least 48 hours to kick in for him.
