Can I get some good thoughts/prayers for MrsPJB's DH??
I just got a message from Melissa (MrsPJB2007). Earlier today her husband, Pete, was in a car accident in Queens (where he works). He is a cop and his cruiser was hit by someone driving a stolen vehicle. Melissa said he is OK, has been released from the hospital but is very sore, has some lacerations on his hand and legs - plus, the airbag hit him pretty hard in the chest.
After a long day between the precinct and the hospital they are just getting something to eat and will be home - thought it would be nice to post some nice thoughts and some "thank God he's OK" remarks for her to come home to. There's nothing worse than the phone call she got today saying something happened to him - I know it firsthand from when Vin was in a bad car accident and it is AWFUL. 
I'm so glad Pete is OK!!!
 
I always said there should be a special group of Angels watching over our Police Officers.

I received a call like that for DH one day in June 05 and I can never explain that feeling. It's making me cry right now.
Melissa, I'm happy to hear DH is home with you tonight. Hug him a little tighter and give him some extra kisses. He's a lucky man and had someone watching over him tonight.
Many and that he will be feeling 100% before you know it.
