Can I return energy saver light bulbs......
Can I return energy saver light bulbs (from target) that say on the box "Guaranteed to last 5 years, based on 4 hour a day usage".
Well, we have lived in our house 1 year, and changed these bulbs twice already. And they are lights from the bathroom, we definately dont have those on for 4 hours a day.
We dont have the receipt, would Target take them back?

Probably not. Target's return policy suxx. I'd contact the manufactorer.

Thats a manuf. warranty..contact the company..they will probally just send you the bulb without you having to do anything..

I agree! The 5 year thing is prob a manufacturer's thing anyway.

Sometimes they are tricky. Does the box say "lasts UP TO 5 years"? If so, even if the bulbs lasted one day, its still "good".

Sorry this happened to you.
Most of the ones I've seen/bought say "UP TO". In that case, they guarantee that they won't last more than 5 years. Anything from 1 second to 5 years is what they promise. I guess in that case, if they last 5 years and 1 day, you should get your money back....
