Can i start CIO? (posted with DD schedule)

DD is going to be 6 months next week. She still wakes up one per night. This is her schedule

5am: Breastfeed

9am: Bottle 5 ounces and cereal (sometimes she doesnt take the whole bottle)

12-1pm: Bottle 5 ounces and applesauce

4-5pm: Bottle 5 ounces

7:30pm: Breastfeed then cereal mixed with applesauce

8:30pm: Breastfeed again then bedtime

11pm: Breastfeed

2am: Breastfeed


As u can see i think she gets enough food and i can start cutting out that 2am feeding right?

i can only give you advice based on my own experience. DS gets 5 8 oz. bottles a day. he doesn't always finish them but drinks at least 32 oz. a day, with solids once a day (a fruit or veggie).

DS's last bottle is at 6:30pm and he doesn't get up to est until 5, 5:30am. so while yes i think your DD *can* go without that 2am feeding (and probably the 11pm feeding as well) you won't really know until you try.

we only did CIO because he was waking up after losing his pacifier, not because he wanted to eat.

i would give it a try, but maybe start on a weekend so if she keeps you up crying at 2am you can sleep in a bit
