Can I use a roast beef to make pot roast?
I just bought a new dutch oven and was planning on buying a pot roast at the supermarket. The roast beef cuts were on sale and I didnt' want to buy an expensive piece of meat for a weekday pot roast. Can I use the roast beef?

Not really.
It's too lean and will get tough during the braise.
