Can latex paint go "bad" if it gets too cold?
We kept our paint in our basement and it's pretty cold down there. Does anyone know if it can ruin the paint?

I don't think so. We kept our paint in the garage and we had to touch something up a few months later an it was fine

I keep all of my paint in the unfinished basement and almost two years later for some of them I still use them for touch ups without a problem!

My stepdad was a painting a wallpapering contractor before he passed away in Oct and he used to keep all his paints in the garage and in the winter put a space heater in there.

Re: Can latex paint go "bad" if it gets too cold?
we have had our paint in our unheated garage since December 2008 and actually just had to bust it out after we did some renovations. It really needed a good mixing (I don't think I mixed one of the colors enough) but it was fine.
2 contractors told me they thought it would be "bad".... but I am still keeping it for next time!
