Can you describe what it feels like to truly

and sincerely Hate your job? So much so that there's no other option but to get out at all costs? I'm not sure if I'm there, and I don't want to be hasty, premature or overly sensitive to organizational change. But maybe if others describe what it means to them to hate a job so much that staying is unhealthy,it will help me either rule in or rule out this diagonsis, so to speak. Thanks very much.

I cried everyday on the way to work, I cried on my vacations, I cried at work behind closed doors).

I was unable to do my job to the fullest too. It showed.

I couldn't enjoy anything in my life. It sucked the life out of me. I was miserable.

Finally I left (i worked it out financially with them).

Thanks to that job I know exactly what I can tolerate and what I can't. I learned a lot about myself.

I guess when it interferes with your life outside of work. when your miserable after the clock stops.

Any job I haven't liked, I never stick it out till I am miserable though.

If your unhappy, and can't have any changes made, I would send out resumes. I have never left one job without another lined up, but I know, speaking up about things that made me unhappy at a job, helped a lot.

When you are miserable every day...don't want to get out of bed...get to work and dont want to work at all because you are not motivated...cry in your office or in the ladies room....you know it's time to go - that's not normal and there is something better out there for you!

I can't do a good job at describing that, because I feel that way and I am so beyond words, that I am SPEECHLESS

you dread going to work. can't stand the site of your boss. look down and don't speak unless spoken to. leave at 5:30 (or whatever the office hours are) on the dot every day no matter way. do a mediocre job. cry a lot. be sad sitting at your desk within the first 10 minutes of being there and happy as soon as you leave.

Literally have to be dragged out of bed in the morning, cry on the way to work, do a half azzed job just to muddle through the day, cry in the bathroom, become antisocial, cry on the way home because you have to go through it again the next day, when a loved one asks how your day was cry again. I had one of these and will never let it get to that point in a job again. I actually resigned via email becuase I couldnt bring myself to go there anymore and be abused.
