Re: Can you get the gender at the Ultra screen?
I was told that the ultrascreen was too early to tell what the baby's gender was.

Typically, the outer genitals form around week 13.
Ultrascreens are usually done at week 12.

Uh...sort of. The genitials are formed at week 12 and the ultrscreen can be anywhere from 11-14 weeks (can't be past 14 weeks, 1 day)
They wouldn't even think about telling me at mine.

Re: Can you get the gender at the Ultra screen?
For Jacob we they told us it was a boy at our ultrascreen, confirmed at level 2.
This time around, they couldn't tell..
If it is a boy and the baby is in position, they can tell..genitals are formed by then..

Re: Can you get the gender at the Ultra screen?
I thought so. I am going for my ultrascreen on Tuesday and I faintly remember them telling me with DS that it was a boy and then I when I went to the Dr. the next day he said that he thought it was a boy as well. At the level II they were both right. And now I have a chubby cheeked boy named Justin who is too proud that he can spell cat. I am hoping that this one is a girl for DH. I have a DD from a previous relationship. He loves her from the time she was 1 1/2 she is 8 now. I would love to give him one of his own. Although I know that my MIL will drive me nuts.
