I know you probably shouldnt wear contacts in case you have a C-section..plus they would irritate my eyes after awhile, but I want to make sure I can see my baby!!

I wore my glasses, but wound up taking them off at some point (I just can't remember WHEN). I was wearing an O2 mask during pushing and they got in the way. As soon as she was out though, DH put them on my face.

I had a c-section and wore my glasses. I would have wore them too if I had a regular delivery. The last I wanted to worry about was not being able to close my eyes, not being able to "rub" them, etc... I wanted to be as "comfy" as possible.

Mt eye Dr made me get new glasses so that I would wear them in the hospital! (She knows how much I despise glasses!!)

I wore my contacts during labor/delivery -- no one said anything about it to me. I would have hated wearing my glasses (I hate wearing my glasses in general, though). I know they would have totally annoyed me. My contacts were fine.

I actually had my contacts on during my c-section. I got induced the night before and they never asked me if I wore contacts and I didn't know that you werent supposed to.
I only found out when I had to have an operation 5 months after the c-section.
