Can You Lovely Ladies Please Answer a Question for Me? Re: Ovulation and Pregnancy Testing

If someone had their last period on June 5 and bedded once on June 20th and has a 40-42 day cycle, what is the latest date they could possibly get a BFP?

My friend, (not me) thinks there's still a chance as she's never been this late(46 days since last AF) and I am thinking not but want to be hopeful for her.

since she has a long cycle theres no way to really know when she ovulated. but id say if she hasnt BD since june 20th, with a cycle that long, she prob doesn't have much of a chance. based on the very little bit of info provided id guess its very unlikely that shes pregnant because it doesnt seem like she BD close enough to ovulation. if she has a 40day cycle she def doesnt O until at the earliest CD24 and it seems like she last BD on CD15 which is no where near the ovulation estimate. she probably ovulated late and thats why shes late.

crazier things have happened, but based on the little info given id highly doubt shes pregnant. good luck to her though.

no way of knowing without knowing how long her LP is... but if her cycles are 40-42 days, she prob doesn't ovulate until somewhere between cd26-30. if she only once on cd16, it doesn't seem very likely. however there's always a chance that she O'd early and would have had a shorter cycle - one never knows. but itsn't today like cd48 or something for her? why doesn't she just take a test? it would def be accurate by now.
