Can you notice EWCM twice in 1 week?
Weird. I usually see EWCM one day per month but can someone please explain when I O'ed?
Just to give you some background AF began on 09/01 and lasts for 7 days. She was pretty much gone by day 7 which was, 09/07. My cycles vary from 28-30 but are usually every 28 days. According to www.YOURDAYS.com I should have O yesterday the 15th.
Here is what I have noticed...
From an earlier post I had stated I noticed EWCM on 09/12. The next day I had no EWCM but was very wet, (sorry TMI). On the 13th thru the morning of the 15th (yesterday) it seemed fairly dry which led me to believe I had O'ed on the 12th. Well last night DH and I were out and I used the restroom shortly before we left. When I wiped, (sorry TMI) I noticed very wet, clear, stretchy CM (not as thick as the CM I saw on the 12th but it was just a little thick, more watery than anything). Don't mean to be gross but when I went to stretch it with my fingers it looked just like water but it stretched, a very fine stretch.
So as soon as we got home we BD'ed. So far we have bd'ed every other night since the 11th.
Being I have a very difficult time determining when I've O'ed when would you say I actually O'ed based on the info above?
Again, sorry for going into too much detail

Re: Can you notice EWCM twice in 1 week?
Hi!!!!! We are in sync this month!!! lol My AF came on the 1st and lasted 7 days as well. I have had EWCM for a few days now. My monthly cycles says I O' yesterday but my fertility monitor didn't reach peak until today....from what the girls are saying here I am going to O in 24 to 36 hrs. which means I am going to O tomorrow. Just BD like crazy for the next 3 days...lol We BD'd yesterday and I wasl thinking to do it again tonight or maybe wait until tomorrow....Or just do it 3 nights in a row...lol Your body is telling you, you're fertile just go with it! Hopefully we'll get PG together!!! ;) XOXOXO Kitty

Re: Can you notice EWCM twice in 1 week?
I would say you O'd on the 12th - based solely on the CM. Do you temp - did you notice a drop or a spike?
From what I understand you O ~12-24 hrs after you see the EWCM. From fertilinet.com, The last day on which fertile Egg White Consistency Cervical Mucus (EWCM) is observed is considered your day of "peak fertility".
Stages of Cervical Fluid: Post Menses
Stage 1: Lasting 2 - 3 days CM is Sticky or Gummy (S) Stage 2: Lasting 2- 4 days: CM is Creamy, Milky, Lotion Like - Beginning of your fertile period (C) Stage 3: Lasting 1-5 days: Egg white Cervical Fluid - At this time you are very fertile. (E) Stage 4: Dry, Moist or Sticky (Infertile)
I typically see it 1 day a month...this month I am on day 3 (in a row) of EWCM. Seems strange (for me) but I'm going with the flow (so to speak ) and DH is enjoying the "practice"
LOTS OF LUCK!!!

I never got into temping, I should but always seem to forget before waking up in the morning. I hope your right, thanks and lots of luck to you also!

Re: Can you notice EWCM twice in 1 week?
You can release more than one egg at a time, but once you ovulate, your progeterone levels go up and your ovaries would not release another egg. Did you see the EWCM again after BD? Is it possible it was from that?

I noticed the EWCM on the 12th which was a day after we first bd'ed this month. The second time I noticed it wasn't as thick on the 15th and we had bd'ed the 13th as soon as we got home on the 15th we made sure we bd'ed just in case I did O that night. According to YOURDAYS I O'ed on the 15th but of course that could be off.
Could the EWCM I saw on the 12th be a sign that I would have O'ed 24-36 hours later and I actually O'ed on the 15? I'm not too sure being that is almost 3 days later, wouldn't that be too much time in between?

You can have EWCM for more than a day. What you saw on the 12th could have been left over from BD the day before, or could have been your first day of EWCM. If you really want to pinpoint when you O, you should try charting or OPKs - if you have regular periods, these both will be very useful tools for you.

I know, your right. I am so mad at myself for not using an OPK this month but in a way I didn't want to put too much thought or work into it because I've been stressing myself for the past two months of trying. I figured to try this for a change and just do it on or around the days I would normally O.
Thanks for all your helpful info and advice
