Can you please post your schedule for your 4 month old
Maddie was up again last night at 1, then from 3-5. I can't figure out what's wrong. I'm wondering if it's from the lack of schedule. I can't seem to get her on one because she is a TERRIBLE napper. She was doing so well at 2-3 months and now it's like having a newborn again. If I knew she was teething I'd be fine with her getting up. It's not know that is driving me crazy!

Re: Can you please post your schedule for your 4 month old
She is probably teething. DD is 5 months and started teething at 3.5 months, yet still no teeth have broken through. She usually goes down at 730-8 and sleeps until 6-7 the following day...but we noticed a few weeks ago, she was waking around 4AM, and we think her teeth were bothering her. There was even one night, I had to hold her the entire night long. It must be so painful.

Re: Can you please post your schedule for your 4 month old
DD just turned 4 months today and she is also a horrible napper... BUT, she pretty much eats at the same time everyday (BF) and her last feeding and bath is the same time... Her last feeding is 7:30 (sometimes she eats a little more an hour later if I have trouble getting her to stay asleep) and usually doesn't wake up before 4 or 5AM and sometimes as late as 6 or 7AM...

Re: Can you please post your schedule for your 4 month old
since he was about 3 months old we've been on a 3 hour cycle with ds. at about 4-4.5 months it really started to stick.
basically, we feed him when he wakes up. then we let him stay up until he starts fussing, 2 hours max. then we put him down for a nap, and he typically sleeps for about an hour. then we start all over again.
works out to about 3 one-hour naps a day, sometimes a little more, sometimes less.
ETA: one thing we started doing to encourage sleeping through the night was feeding him at 10pm (while he's asleep). for a while he was still getting up once in the middle of the night to eat, but now he's sleeping straight through.

This is what we've been doing as well since she's been about 8 weeks. She was sleeping 6-8 hours at night. I was trying to follow the ideas from Becoming Baby Wise although I don't agree with everything they say. 2 weeks ago, she started getting up after 5 hours of sleep and it's been on the decline ever since. How long does your DC sleep at night before waking? TIA!

Re: Can you please post your schedule for your 4 month old
My DD is 6 months, but her corrected age is 4 months, so I'll put in my schedule.
HA!! There isn't one for her. I do find, however, that if she eats a full 6 oz bottle at about 9:30, she will sleep until at least 7. Last night was rough b/c she ate about 5 1/2 ozs at 8:30 and was up at about 3:45, then 6, then about 8. She fell asleep at about 2, and is still napping.
I know she is teething and it can't be comfortable for her, so I feel awful for the poor little peanut.
Hope you find something that works for you.
