No book reco's here but I am just wondering if you want her to fall asleep in her crib or just sleep there. Can she fall asleep on your bed and be moved into the crib? We do this. I actually like the cuddling time with DD.
We also made it a point that even if DD has a bad night and spends a good portion of the night in our bed, we move her into her crib in the morning before she wakes so she is in her crib when she gets up and has positiive associations with waking up there (and not in our bed)

I have been letting her fall asleep in my arms while I watch TV. It usually works and sometimes she stays asleep through the night with the occasional wake up (she will fall right back out) and sometimes when i transfer her to the crib she wakes up.
Last night I tried 3 or 4 times for her to fall asleep in my arms and each time she woke up crying and just stood up and bawled. After that I just had it and let her sleep in my bed.
I didnt transfer her but maybe we can try that if she doesnt go down tonight.
I kills me because she used to be such a good sleeper. Would sleep from 7-6 and not wake, plus fall asleep on her own.
Me and DH are fighting because of this because I hate to hear her cry and he wants her to cry.

I've read some books that say for some DC, it can be traumatic going to sleep next to mom and/or dad, then waking up without them, in a different room. Some DC are afraid to go to sleep, since every time they fall asleep, Mommy and Daddy disappear. If it works for you, then that's great, but it may not work for everyone. Just something to keep in mind.
