Can you post your convertible car seat?
We registered for this one, but didn't get it (Onyx Marathon™ Convertible Car Seat by Britax ):
but then we saw this in BJs the other day (safety 1st):
but now I'm just all sorts of confused on which one to get. Can you post yours?

We have this one too. It goes up to 65lbs, which is a good thing because Peyton just turned 2 and is already 37 lbs (I belive the marathon only goes to 40lbs)

We just installed the First Years True Fit.
It is kind of a pain to adjust the straps rear facing - but it seems comfy and it got a really good rating in the Baby Bargains book as well as other places on line.
DS hates being strapped into it, but he hates being strapped into anything.
I miss the infant carrier already.

I have a Britax Marathon and a Britax Boulevard. I think DS seems more comfy in the Marathon.

We have a Boulevard, MyRide and a TrueFit.
All have their plusses and all have their negatives. I suggest you go to a store, look at seats, play with them, try them in your vehicle to see how they fit etc

Thats what we did, we put ds in so many of them and played around with them until we found one we liked

DDs first convertible carseat was an evenflo triumph. I liked that a lot but she is tall and outgrew it so then we bought a Gravo nautilus - I LOVE that seat. And..its great because Ill never have to buy another seat for her. It converts to a backed booster and abackless one.

We have the Britax Marathon too.
We actually have to get a 2nd for DHs car and we're thinking about getting the Graco Comfort Sport (I think that's what it's called) since I heard it got a good safety rating but is very reasonably priced at about $100.
