Can you recommend good storage places in Nassau County?
We are looking to put a lot of our stuff in storage while we house hunt. Any highly recommended places that are clean and reputable?
Planning to store most of our furniture, a lot of things we don't use, etc. Not sure how much space we'll need but looking into options.

we used public storage in hicksville (OCR and 107) 4.5 years ago and we were happy.
DH's aunt used Westie's in Farmindale (110) and was happy too

We use a place in RVC that was clean and reasonable- I think it is called self storage or something like that. When I put things in there I was paranoid about it, I was told a lot of phram. reps store there stuff there- so it made me feel better, and they also told me they never saw a bug- I am so paranoid though- I put down ant and roach traps just in case.....

I used westy for two years- it was expensive, but super clean and my stuff was in perfect condition when I took it out

Right now im using public storage on 110... we got a pretty decent rate back in may on a 5x10... using it to store our shower gifts until we move and get more room

i have my house at westy
Kitchen table / 4 chairs
Den loveseat, recliner, chase, LCD TV
Kids Twin size bed
Master bedroom: Queen headboard, footboard, two nightstands, chest of drawers, my long dresser and mirror, small TV
Living room couch w/ cocktail table and two end tables
ALL Attic and basement and shed stuff
All our clothes, kitchen items, dining room items (i sold my dining room set prior to moving)
in a 15X5X10 foot facility.
tell them what you have and they can easily tell you what will fit. i didn't think all this stuff was going to fit in there, but boy, they were right!
Westy is temp controlled, secure and clean.
ETA: in hixville - off of 107, by the hixville train station.

DH and I use Storage America in Garden City Park. It's very clean and our room is pretty big, we fit our whole bedroom set, living room set, lamps, coffee table, and a ton of boxes. We pay $160 a month.
