Can you recommend toddler friendly restaurants in Lancaster? Can you help me narrow down what we should do besides DW in Lancaster area?
We plan to get to Lancaster tomorrow morning. We are going to do the preview from 5:30pm and then spend all day Sunday at DW.
Can you recommend some toddler friendly restaurants in the area?
We also need to fill half a day. I feel like we have too many choices.
Can you help me narrow down to one?
Cherry Crest Adventure Farm Kitchen Kettle Village Strasburg Railroad Hands on House
Any other suggestions? Where can we ride a buggy?

The whole area is very family friendly.
We ate with DS at a Bob Evans, wish we had one on LI, and it was great.
We also checked out both the Rockvale and Tanger outlets when were there.

We went to Good N' Plenty in Bird In Hand. The restaurant is set up family style and there were several small children there in addition to the ones we brought with us (ages 9, 7, 6, 3, 1). The staff was really nice, there was a lot of food and it was tasty - and the other families were super pleasant.

We ALWAYS go to the Plain and Fancy, its SO good. Plus there is a little animal farm, a swing set, a little store. There are buggy rides that leave right from in front, an ice cream shop.

Hershey is only half an hour away, you can go to Chocolate World (not the park itself) and kill half a day.

We also went to Plain and Fancy which is family-style dining. Fried chicken=DELICIOUS! Also Miller's Smorgasbord was good--that's buffet style. Both VERY kid-friendly.
We went to Lancaster last month. I don't know that you're going to need more than a day at DW. Your DC is small, no? There aren't a ton of rides for children under 2. Anyway, that said, if you end up needing two activities as a result, I recommend Kitchen Kettle Village for sure. I wanted to live there. When we went there was live music outdoors. There is also a decorate-your-own gingerbread man thing in the bakery there. There's also a petting zoo and playground on the other side of the parking lot. We had lunch at the restaurant there which was very good. The kids enjoyed the Strasburg RR too. Coincidentally, we were there when Thomas was there...kids had a lot of fun!
Enjoy your trip!

I know people rave about Kitchen kettle Village but I didn't love it. If you do the Strasburg Railroad, there is a restaurant near there called the Red Caboose. You eat in a train car.
Lancaster has all kinds of chain/family friendly places (Cracker Barrel, CiCis Pizza, Applebees, Sonic)

Zoo America is also in Hershey (again only about 1/2 an hour away) and you can do the zoo there in about 2 hours or so.

We were planning to do the 3 hour preview on saturday and then spend the entire afternoon (~2pm-6pm) on Sunday.
We get the 3 hour DW preview for free. DS usually sleeps around 8 so we'll most likely only be there for 1.5 hours the first day.
I guess we will have 2 half days then-Sat afternoon and Sunday morning.
