Can you recommend your floor refinishing person?
The guy who we used for our downstairs rooms is backed up by a few weeks and we desperately need to get the floors done in the bedrooms. Can someone recommend who they used for refinishing and if you don't mind sharing, what you paid for it... We have been out of our bedrooms for 2 1/2 months (DIY job!! ) and I can't stand me, DH & 3 kids sleeping in one room anymore!!!!
HEEEEELLLLP!
TIA

We used Harris Floors and couldn't be happier with how they came out!
Linky
We had our living room and dining room sanded, stained and poly'd and it cost us $945
eta - they also did the 4 steps and landing on the stairs between the LR and DR

Thank you. We called them and are waiting for a call back.
Anyone else? I know a lot of people have had their floors done here.

Re: Can you recommend your floor refinishing person?
There are a lot of reco's in the related topics below.
I used Aliperti & Sons (and was completely thrilled with the results and their professionalism) and it was $2.50/square foot. If you want a stain (which we did in one room) it's an additional $1/square foot.
Stairs were $25/stair - $5-10 more per stair for a stain.
This was July 2006.

We are having ours done this weekend, once they do them if I am happy I will gladly give your his number.
I called him last week and he is doing them on Friday and Saturday this week so I know that he will fit people in to his schedule last minute
