Can you recommend your infant bath tub and diaper pail?

I know the two are unrelated, well sort of:) - just thought I'd post once. I'm starting my registry and wanted to get an idea from those using the products. TIA!

I have the first years infant to toddler tub. I'd definitely recommend it.

I also have the diaper genie. DD is almost 5 months and I have yet to put one diaper in it.

we have fisher price precious planets whale of a tub... we love it!

the garbage pail... we have the First Years one. ITs FANTASTIC holds in the smell and yet we can use reg. garbage bags from costco. Its a heck of a lot cheaper then the diaper gene!

I cant remember our tub but our garbage pale is the Diaper Champ. It holds a ton of diapers, holds in the smell, and we can use any type of page (garbage bag, supermarket plastic bags, kohls bags, BRU bags).

definitely the Diaper champ...it works really well and you can use your own garbage bags...you dont have to buy refills! It kept the stink in until it was full which was at least 2 weeks!

we actually have the summer bath sling... it looks like a bouncy seat but it is for the tub or sink


we have two diaper genies... one for each level in the house... i can tell you i thought they were usless at the begining... now that ds is old they are alot more necessary.... i needed a gas mask for his diaper... we have two dogs as well and wanted to make sure those diapers were locked up tight... as they eat tissues and q-tips all the times

I had 3 different tubs before I found the one we love. We had the fold up one & the rainforest one & another basic one. All three of them I found were difficult to use. The angle of the back & the bump for her knees never were right. She would be too low or slide down and keeping her propped up while trying to wash her was a pain. Then we bought the Primo tub and it has been a breeze ever since. The way the bottom is molded supports the baby so you have both hands free. You still have to support the baby of course but if you use both hands to wash you don't have to worry that they will slip under. And it is big so there is plenty of room to hold them when they sit up.

As for diaper pails, we almost didn't get one as we ended up tossing the diaper genie with the first kid. Anyway, I bought one by the first years that uses your own garbage bags because I didn't want the hassle or expense of having to make sure we had refills. This one uses a fan & charcoal filters but still operates if you run out. Every diaper pail is stinky but her room is on the second floor & I didn't want to have to worry about running downstairs to toss poopy diapers all the time.

I have the Fisher Price Rainforest Tub and the Baby Trend Diaper Champ.

I like both and had no problems with either one.
