Can you report puppy mills? Help!
We're looking to get a dog. My husband has decided he wants a Boston Terrier, and would like to get one from a reputable breeder because he's nervous about getting a shelter dog with our 3 year old daughter. (I've tried to convince him...but he's not willing to budge).
So he's been researching Boston breeders...we found one who had a puppy about a month ago, but she was looking for waaaaayy too much money, so we passed.
Yesterday, he found someone who claimed to be a Boston breeder and was going to go look at the puppies today. He had a strange feeling about the guy, so he did a little internet research on the guy and found his unadvertised website which looked suspiciously like a puppy mill site. Apparently, there were about 20 different breeds the guy is offering.
He called the guy again today to ask him some questions, and based on the answers, he realized that it was a puppy mill....so he told him he will not be purchasing a dog from him, and gave him a piece of his mind. (Go Tom!)
I came home from work and he told me the story....but I'm wondering if there's more we can do to get this guy to stop what he's doing! Is there a place we can call to report him? I'd love to be able to put this greedy jerk out of business!

is he located in Suffolk? The SPCA is very serious about animal abuse & going after people legally...if the dogs are not properly cared for they might be able to do something.

Otherwise maybe Rescue Ink would check them out?

is he located in Suffolk? The SPCA is very serious about animal abuse & going after people legally...if the dogs are not properly cared for they might be able to do something.
