I would skip HS with a 2and 4 year old if you only have 2days in wdw. I would spend 2days at MK. There is much more for them. Hs is better with older ones. While they do have some things for little ones with only 2days I would spend them in the MK.

You could pack sandwiches if you want to save money. Pack snacks and split entrees. So hard side coolers or glass allowed but you can bring food in if you need to.

Re: can you see magic kingdom in one day?

Depends on how long. We just got back and my boys are the same age.

We did 6 days, but the first day we went to MK we were there in the morning and surprisingly stayed till 10PM. I never thought my boys would last, but I feel like we did just about everything. Even the fireworks at night they loved. We did go 2 more days and pretty much went on a bunch of their fav rides over again. I think 2 days would be better though.
Our other fav was Animal Kingdom then Epcot. HS was our least fav. Not much to do for the boys that age. Too much standing around. Only good part was the character breakfast at Hollywood and Vine. The rest of the day was wasting time waiting for our fast pass time for Toy Story Mania.

Re: can you see magic kingdom in one day?

We went when DS was almost 3.

In our experience, yes, you can do MK in one day. That was how we did it - we planned really well, got up early, barely waited in line (at a busy time) and were more than done at 9 pm.

However, DS was just under 3 at the time and didn't really know better. I mean, he just wanted to ride Magic Carpets of Alladdin a million times.Chat Icon At young ages, they're easily satisfied.

If you only have two days, I would still do 2 parks. For the second park, I would do your research on the rides and see what they would like best. DS loved HS because he loves all the Pixar movies and we spent half a day going back and forth between Mater and Lightning and Mike and Sully - and DS could have gone back for more the next day. It's all about your kids and what they like.

Agreed. Theyre not going to know the difference. Also itll give you a reason to take them again in a few years! Thats my game plan lol!

I agree. We just got back yesterday and although we went two days, one would have been fine. We brought our 4Y o and 2yo.

We actually went for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and did a good amount of the park in one night, including the parade, rides, met characters, dance party with characters.

Re: can you see magic kingdom in one day?

Yes and no.

Yes, I think you can do all the rides that are age appropriate for your 2yo and 4yo.

No, there is no way you can do all of magic kingdom in one day but many of the rides are inappropriate for toddlers like Space Mountain.

We have gone to Disney 3x and we pick and choose what we go on. We only do half days and see most everything (or at least most everything that is age appropriate for my kids). We do all of Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and some of Adventureland. We always see a parade and at least 2 shows. We accomplish all of this under 5 hours at the park. We always go at rope drop or at extra magic hour. 5 hours is plenty for our kids at a theme park.

Re: can you see magic kingdom in one day?

We did twice in one trip!! Of course it was because it rained both days which kept everyone away, but it let us see the entire park both times!
