Can you suggest some toys for 6+ months?
Please share what your 6+ month-old likes to play with! DH and I are looking for stuff for James that he can use a few months after Christmas

My DS isn't 6 months yet (he's only 2 months) but I went christmas shopping for him and got him a few things for when he's 6 months  (i had to get him his 1st x-mas presents)
I got the FP Laugh & Play Farm and there is a house too. Also, the FP musical table looked cool so I got that. Also saw some toys that involve shape sorting which is an important skill, and got a toy that has these colorful blocks, i think they pop up and are on a little train he could potentially push. There were a couple of toys with these colorful pop up blocks.

Based on recommendations, I got for Nolan's first Christmas... a FP little tee ball set (the bat looks like a red turkey leg!) and FP roly poly penguin, both 6 mos. An activity table that is 9 months and up. These little plastic blocks (not sure if FP or Playskool) that are clear with jiggly things inside. My sister said her boys loved them. I also got him one of those things where you twist a knob, press a button, turn a dial to get flaps to pop up with animals inside (my mom has a simple infant one and he loves it when he's there).
My siblings also rave about the laugh and learn house door thing that is currently still in hand me down use so Nolan should be getting the barn door from Nanny Clause.
Looooottttttsssss of books! A suction on high chair toy and a few odds and ends I grab.
My cousin also recommended a ball popper toy (not a big one though) that her 11 1/2 month old still plays with.
