Can you switch insurance plans while pregnant?

Can you switch insurance plans while pregnant?
I would call the ins company and ask. I want to say yes even though its a pre-existing condition but some ins companies may say no bc of a loophole.

Can you switch insurance plans while pregnant?
I did twice because I changed jobs, and then after one month of being on the new plan, my job switched plans. Had no issues.

It's only considered a pre-existing condition if you are not insured when itis diagnosed, since you will be switching during the pregnancy it will be fine. As long as you are allowed to switch with open enrollment or life change status....

Can you switch insurance plans while pregnant?
My company is offering a really great plan, much better than my husbands, so thats why I was thinking of switching. I've always been continuously covered.

During open enrollment my job informed us that they were switching insurance companies so I didn't have a choice but to switch. I haven't had any issues so far.

yes i did. my dh got a new job with a great insurance plan, better than mine from my job. i was half way through my pregnancy when i switched. i just let the doctors office know and they took my new info. i was so glad because i wanted to be on this new insurance before i delivered. when i got my new insurance, i called them to let them know i was pregnant, my due date and where i would be delivering so they could go ahead and authorize it ahead of time.

Yes! Yes! Yes!!! you can absolutely switched to your husband insurance if he have a better plan. All you need to do is inform you doctors who your new insurance provider is.

Yes, we switched halfway through with no problem. and I don't think they are allowed to count pregnancy as pre-existing anymore anyway. . I think (don't quote me) that it's against the law.. only issue would be if your current dr does not take your new insurance so that is worth checking if your dr isimportant to you
