Can't get my prenatals until the end of the month

I called my pharm to refill my prenatals (Citracal +DHA) yesterday and tried to pick them up and was told oh they have to order them I will have them tomorrow (I run on on Sat).

So I check my messages only to discover they left me a voicemail this morning telling me it is on backorder and they can't get me them until end of March!!! They told me to call my doctor and get another script for a different med or just wait for them to come in!!! They seem to the only ones that don't bother my stomach

Try another pharmacy. That's ridiculous!!!!

Unless you have a special condition, just take a non-prescription prenatal.

try another pharmacy or ask you doctor for samples to get you through.

I would try another pharmacy....mine were out of stock last time, but I got them the next day!

My OB told me the OTCs are the same as Rx...

Get an OTC as a backup.

No I can't take the OTC - I have B12 issues and this is the one my MD wanted me to take.

The pharmacy says it is the company that has it on backorder not CVS - that they aren't making them temporarily. The problem is some of the others bother me - and this one has a stool softener and DHA.

Dr's office told me they don't have samples that can hold me until then - someone is supposed to call me back

Try calling around to other pharmacies, including small, non-chain ones to see if they have it in stock. Then your doctor can call it into one of them for you.

Can you have your doctor write another prescription? If so take it to every pharmacy until you find one that has the vitamin in stock and can fill it.

So I had called a few other places and they didn't have it in the store - BUT I called the CVS in mineola and THEY HAVE IT - I am sooooo annoyed b/c the pharmacist told me that the other CVS's didn't have it in stock. I told the Mineola location and she was like huh? we have it
