car seat with high rear facing weight limit
We need to buy another car seat. Can anyone recommend a good car seat that also has a high rear facing weight limit. It will either go in a Honda Civic Hybrid, or Honda CRV (not sure which one yet). TIA!

I think the Britax Bouelvard 70 CS that I have has a pretty high rear facing weight limit- but the exact number escapes me now.
Check it out though.

The evenflo symphony 65 goes up to 40 rear facing, up to 65 forward facing with harnesses and up to 100 as a high back belt positioning booster. I have it rear facing in a 4 door 2003 Chevy cavalier and the passenger seat is a bit close to the dash, I'm 5' 5" and fit okay. DH is 5' 10" and his knees are on the dashboard if he has to sit there.

I have the Britax Boulevard which is 35lbs rear facing and my parents have the Graco Myride which is 40lbs rear facing.
My son is 3 and only 29 lbs so he's still rear facing in both!

We have the Britax Boulevard too, so I guess I want the second one to go to 40 lbs. DS is nearing 40 lbs (and I'd have to check the height b/c he's pretty tall), so he won't be able to use it much longer RF, but at least I know if I have a second DC, it can get a lot of use.

Diono Radian RXT and R120 goes to 45lbs RF (the R100 goes to 40) but they can be a tricky install

Popular seats that I would start by looking at that SHOULD fit in those vehicles:
Graco MyRide
Britax Roundabout/Marathon/Boulevard/Advocate (new models with black shells, and I think some white shelled Roundabouts are approved for 40, check your individual seats)
Cosco Scenera 40 (Target has these, again, check the seat, there are some that go to 35lbs RF)
Evenflo Triumph 65/Symphony 65
He should fit in any of these RF until he hits the weight limit (clothed) or has less than 1" of shell above his head.
