Caribbean Princess cruise????
Have any of you ever been on this cruise to Eastern Caribbean? I'm more concerned with the cruiseline vs. the destination since I've been to the Caribbean before.
The Caribbean Princess belongs to the Princess cruise line (duh lol).
Any reviews? Thanks!

I've never been on that cruise, but have you checked cruisecritic.com? You should be able to find plenty of reviews on that site...good luck!

Re: Caribbean Princess cruise????
I was on this boat several years ago (Aug 2005). I have also been on the sister ship the Crown princess (in Nov 2006 the year that it came out). Both cruises DH and I went (without kids the second trip was a babymoon) and we had a fabulous time. We had a mini suite and LOVED it.
Before sailing on Princess I have taken 13 or so cruises on Celebrity Cruiseline (elite captains club member) and I have been on NCL (but that was MANY years ago).
What specifics would you like to know?
We loved that there were 4 pools which really spread out the crowds. There are two adult only pools and 2 family ones - one with music/band and the other with a huge movie screen that shows movies all day and they do movies under the stars like a drive in at night with popcorn and blankets etc.
The shows were the same or better than what we saw on Celebrity.
Food on Celebrity was definitely better - BUT - the meals we had on Princess were still pretty good.
We ate at both of the specialty restaurants and we preferred the steak/seafood one over the italian one (which was WAYYYYYYYYY too much food - it is like an 8 course meal it has been a while so I don't know if they changed that. But they have several tasting plates where you get like 5-6 things to taste PER plate, then soup, salad, then your entree and dessert. Many people were packing up their entrees and desserts.
We liked the shore excursions and there were plenty of daytime and evening activities to keep you busy. They had several pretty funny comedians that were pretty well known in one of the bars at night.
Overall we had some great trips and got some really good deals.

I had an awesome time on it. We stayed in a mini-suite. Loved Sabatini's and Sterling Steakhouse.

Re: Caribbean Princess cruise????
DH and I went on the Caribbean Princess a few years ago and then 2 years ago we went on an NCL cruise. We both kept saying how much BETTER the Princess cruise was! The service was top notch (servers, cabin persons, etc etc). We had a lot of great excursions to choose from and overall we really enjoyed ourselves.
