I once shaved the peach fuzz above my upper lip b/c I didn't have time to wax it.
NEVER AGAIN... I had stubble for weeks... I think I even started to grow testicles.

I have shaved my chin and jaw area before...just to get the longer peach fuzz....it works pretty well

I have that same fog-free lying beyatch of a mirror that I have to wipe off every day. It's only fog free until you clean it the first time and then it's just a regular, fogged up mirror. 
I wouldn't shave my face - too afraid I'd cut myself. I won't even think about the potential regrowth.

No way. It's enough to worry about my legs, underarms, eyebrows, etc. I don't want to add shaving my face to the already long list!
I think the OTC products I use are sufficient. I'm not a very 'hairy' person...so, maybe that makes a big difference.

interesting concept!
i've shaved my chin... during the time i was getting laser hair removal (it's the only thing you can do during treatment)
the only thought that crosses my mind is:
i've heard, over the years, that to get a great shave, it's best to exfoliate right before you shave. this way you get all the dead skin off and the razor can get a closer shave... so, wouldn't that be doing double the work?
keep us posted. i'm interested to see what the upkeep would be
