Carpet/Area Rug Suggestions- Where To Buy
Long story short DH and I went before we moved into our new apartment over 6 weeks ago and purchased 5 area rugs from a business in West Hempstead. (I won't name the business because just by location people would figure it out anyhow.)
We picked up the area rugs ourselves, and laid them out..immediately we had issues with 3 of the 5 which ranged from the rug (all were cut from remnants) being cut crooked and there were bald spots also which upset DH and I as you can imagine.
Right now we're fighting with the vendor and also fighting the charge of the rugs because of all the issues. It got so dramatic that we even had to go to Nassau County Consumer Affiars office.
Also assuming that DH and I are going to give back at least 2 of the rugs and have to re-purchase for our hallway and living room I'm starting to look for suggestions as to where a reliable place to shop for these two area rugs.
Any suggestions would be appreciated since we just want a reliable place to deal with that will do a job correct and efficiently.

Either would work- we need an 8' x 8' for the living room and then just a 18'(l) x 2'(w) runner for our hallway.
Trying to keep the cost about $200-$300 for both if possible.
